The 10 best crypto cards of 2026
The ten cards that scored highest in our overall ranking: low fees, clear terms, reliable issuers, and perks that hold up in practice, not just in the marketing. Below we explain what makes each one strong and who it fits.
How we chose
Every card in the catalog gets a CRI (Card Rating Index) score — an overall rating from 0 to 100. We don't score by eye: the score is made up of six weighted components.
- Fees (25%). What the card actually costs in everyday use: the conversion fee — the charge for exchanging crypto into regular money at the moment of payment — issuance, maintenance, top-ups, and the FX markup, i.e. the surcharge added to the rate when paying in a foreign currency.
- Availability (20%). Which countries the card can be opened in, how demanding the identity check (KYC) is, and how quickly you get a working card.
- Functionality (20%). Supported coins and blockchain networks, Apple Pay and Google Pay, limits, how convenient the app is.
- Benefits (15%). Cashback — money back on a share of your spending — welcome bonuses, and referral programs.
- Trust (15%). Licenses, how long the service has been around, reputation, incident history.
- Transparency (5%). How honestly the fees are published and how support works.
The full breakdown of the formula is on the methodology page.

The cards, reviewed
Trustee Plus — CRI 80
A virtual Visa whose balance is held in USDC — a stablecoin pegged to the dollar. There's no fee at all for paying with the card, and exchanging crypto in the app costs just 0.5%. A standout perk is the personal European account with an IBAN: you can receive transfers to it just like a regular bank account. The main catch is that the card is only available to residents of the European Economic Area, and applications from Ukraine have been paused at times.
Kraken Krak Card — CRI 79
A card from Kraken — one of the oldest regulated crypto exchanges. There are virtually no fees: no transaction charges, no markup on the rate, and the exchange doesn't charge for cash withdrawals either. It supports over four hundred assets. A good pick for anyone who cares most about the issuer's reputation.
Nexo Card — CRI 78
An unusual format: you spend against your crypto as collateral without selling it. That's handy if you expect your holdings to grow and don't want to lock in a sale. It also works in debit mode, and cashback of up to 2% is paid in the NEXO token.
Gate Card — CRI 77
A straightforward exchange Visa: a 0.9% fee, free virtual card issuance, and coverage across the whole European Economic Area. No flashy extras, but no hidden catches either.
WhiteBIT Nova — CRI 76
The card from the largest European exchange with Ukrainian roots, operating under a MiCA license — the EU's new common regulatory framework for crypto services. The main draw is cashback of up to 10% paid in real bitcoin on popular categories like subscriptions, taxis, and other everyday spending.
OKX Card — CRI 76
Arguably the cheapest for everyday use: instead of a fee, there's only a 0.1% spread — the minimal gap between the market rate and the exchange rate you actually get. No issuance fee, no maintenance fee. Built for spending the USDC and USDG stablecoins across Europe.
Bybit Card — CRI 76
A virtual and physical Mastercard with automatic conversion and the widest geographic reach among exchange cards: besides Europe, it also works in the UK, Australia, Brazil, and Argentina. New users get a promotional cashback of up to 10%.
Kolo Card — CRI 76
A record-low conversion fee of around 0.32%, and an identity check that takes about a minute. Cashback of 2% is paid in bitcoin. One of the few services available in nearly every country in the world.
Crypto.com Visa — CRI 75
A lineup of prepaid cards at different tiers: the more CRO tokens you stake, the higher your cashback — up to 5% — and the more perks like subscription reimbursements you unlock. One of the few cards that work in the US.
Avici Card — CRI 75
A next-generation credit card: the collateral is held by a smart contract on the blockchain, not by a company. Zero percent APR and 5% cashback. The project is young, so we're still confirming some of the terms — keep that in mind.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which crypto card is the best in 2026?
There's no one-size-fits-all answer — it depends on the scenario. For Europe with minimal fees, we'd point you to Trustee Plus and Kraken Krak; for cashback, WhiteBIT Nova and Bybit; in the US, the choice is basically between Crypto.com, Coinbase, and Gemini.
Do top cards require verification?
Yes, almost all cards in our top ten require full KYC — an identity check against a document. If you want a faster start, look at Kolo or Bitget, where the check takes one to three minutes.
Can I use a card like this in a regular store?
Yes, at any terminal that accepts Visa or Mastercard, and also via Apple Pay and Google Pay. The store doesn't even know you paid with crypto.
