Best cashback crypto cards in 2026

Crypto card cashback can be more generous than what banks offer — up to eight or ten percent. But behind the flashy "up to X%" number there are usually conditions: staking, purchase categories, monthly caps. We looked past the marketing maximum to figure out what actually comes back to you.

How to see through "up to 10%"

  • What the cashback is paid in. Bitcoin or USDC is a "hard" reward you can spend right away. An issuer's own token (WXT, XTP, PLU, CRO) can lose value before you get around to using it, so the effective rate ends up lower than promised.
  • Conditions for the top rate. "Up to 8%" usually means: lock up the service's tokens (that's staking), spend in specific categories, and stay under a monthly cap on rewards. Work out your real rate based on your typical spending.
  • Net benefit. 5% cashback against a 2–3% conversion fee is really only 2–3%. Sometimes a card with lower cashback but zero fees comes out ahead.

The cards, reviewed

WhiteBIT Nova — CRI 76

Cashback is paid in real bitcoin, not an in-house token: up to 10% on categories like subscriptions and taxis. The reward cap is 25 euros a month, so the card works best for regular, small-ticket spending.

Bybit Card — CRI 76

New users get promotional cashback of up to 10%, then a standard rate of up to 2% depending on tier. A solid choice as a daily card: wide geographic coverage and auto-conversion from any balance.

Wirex Card — CRI 74

Up to 8% through the Cryptoback program, but paid in the WXT token, with the rate depending on your plan. A good fit if you're already in the Wirex ecosystem.

Tap Card — CRI 71

Up to 8% in the XTP token with no issuance fee or monthly charges. A classic "read the conditions" case: your real rate depends on how much XTP you hold.

Plutus Card — CRI 68

3 to 9% in the PLU token plus monthly perks from about fifty brands — Netflix, Spotify, Amazon. The value is real if you're already paying for those subscriptions anyway.

Gnosis Pay — CRI 74

One to five percent in the GNO token depending on how much GNO you hold. A bonus on top of the card's main draw — zero fees and self-custody.

Crypto.com Visa — CRI 75

Along with Gemini and Coinbase, an option for the US: up to 5% in CRO if you stake (Crypto.com), or up to 4% in the crypto of your choice (Gemini, Coinbase).

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which card gives the biggest cashback?

By stated maximum — WhiteBIT Nova and Bybit (up to 10%), Wirex and Tap (up to 8%). But almost everywhere, the maximum comes with conditions: categories, a promo period, staking, or a reward cap. Work out the real rate against your typical spending.

Is cashback in an issuer's own token a bad thing?

It's risky: the token can lose value while you're accumulating it, shrinking the actual reward. Cashback in bitcoin or stablecoins is more predictable — which is exactly why we rate programs like WhiteBIT Nova and Kolo higher.
